Governor Parson’s Focus on Bridge Celebration

On Tuesday, November 28th, from 12:00-12:45 PM, Governor Parson will be in Cape Girardeau County for a stop on his “Focus on Bridges” celebration tour. In 2019, at the behest of the Governor, the legislature provided $350 million to repair or replace 250 of Missouri’s ailing bridges. At this point, all 250 are either complete, under construction, or under contract.

Our office hopes you are able to attend and celebrate the completion of a bridge project in your community, and to recognize the positive impact it will have on your community members for years to come. Please see below for all information regarding the event!

*In the event of bad weather, due to the low-lying nature of this location, our backup option is the nearby Cape Girardeau MoDOT maintenance facility, with bridge images mounted for displays.
