EBO MD Welcomes New Nurse Practitioner Leeanna Rhodes
EBO MD is pleased to welcome nurse practitioner Leeanna Rhodes, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, to their team of primary care providers in the Cape Girardeau and Jackson clinics.
Rhodes most recently worked as a primary care provider at Cape Family Care. Her previous experience includes three years as a nurse practitioner in family medicine, cardiology, urgent care and orthopedics practices, and eight years of nursing experience across service line specialties with SoutheastHEALTH.
A Campbell, Missouri, native, Rhodes earned a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education from Oakland City University in Oakland City, Indiana, a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri, and her master’s in nursing from Cox College in Springfield, Missouri. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Heartland Advanced Practice Nurses Network and the Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners.
Nurse practitioners have undergone advanced training and can diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries, order lab work and imaging tests, and write prescriptions. They can manage many health conditions, teach health promotion and help patients with disease prevention.
