Boys and Girls Clubs of Southeast Missouri Receive $500,000 in 70% NAP Business Tax Credits
''The Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Missouri has been awarded $500,000 in 70% Business Tax Credits - the maximum amount given out by the Department of Economic Development for the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP). If you pay state business taxes of any kind, you qualify for the credits. This includes Realtors, Farmers, and those who are self-employed. Matt McDonald, CEO, says, ''We are so excited. This is a win-win for Southeast Missouri. Business owners can donate to the Club and drastically reduce or eliminate their tax debt. Their tax dollars stay local. Then, the Club uses the donations to serve under-resourced youth right here in Southeast Missouri. The business owners win and the community wins.'' The Boys & Girls Clubs offers free after-school programming and summer camps for 200+ kids in Cape and Scott City. The credits are first come, first served.
