SEMO Food Bank Names Buell Director of Finance

SIKESTON, MO (Oct. 7, 2022) – Natalie Buell has been named Director of Finance for Southeast Missouri Food Bank. “I’m excited to join the food bank and a team that is doing so much to help our community,” Buell said. “I want to be someplace where my work will have a positive impact for our area.”

Buell is a graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School and has a degree from Southeast Missouri State University. She comes to the food bank with 10 years’ experience in nonprofit finance. “I’m excited to welcome Natalie to our team,” said Joey Keys, chief executive officer of Southeast Missouri Food Bank. “Her financial expertise with nonprofit organizations makes her an incredible asset to the food bank.” Southeast Missouri Food Bank serves 70,000 individuals each month through a network of 140 partner agencies and other programs. The food bank’s 16-county service area has some of the highest rates of hunger in the state, with one in six families and one in five children not having enough to eat.
